Tecno Spark 6 Comes With Multiple Bluetooth Audio Share

Transsion holdings have unraveled a new smartphone and it comes with an eccentric design. The Tecno Spark 6 smartphone shares similarities in features to the Spark 5 and Spark 5 pro devices released earlier in the year, but bears a stark contrast in design to these models.

The Tecno Spark brand is a series of smartphones which are targeted at low-earning smartphone markets, like those of Nigeria. The Spark series is a popular one in the African powerhouse, as well as the continent in whole. These smartphones attract users by their pricing, which as at when compared to the features offered is worth it. This means that one shouldn’t expect much of an exclusive high-end smartphone in this series offered by Tecno.

The Spark 5 and the recently announced Spark 6 are powered by a 5000mAh battery which supports an 18W fast charging. There’s also minimal changes in camera specifications from the earlier one packed by the Spark 5 models.

The Mediatek Helio G70 processor brought in to the Spark 6 smartphone from the earlier A25 processor which powered the Spark 5 appeals more to the European market. Tecno have recently crafted some of their devices to get the interest of the European markets and switching to the powerful G70 is one of those moves.

Unlike other models, the Spark 6 allows a Bluetooth connection to multiple speakers or receivers. Full specifications of the smartphone are as follows:

Display

Tecno Spark 6 outclasses its predecessors with a better 6.8 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and a 720 x 1640 pixels resolution. The phone maker indicates that with the better display specifications for the Spark 6, a balance has been struck between a comfortable grip and a better viewing experience.

Brightness is 480 nits, but there’s no mention of a glass protection for the dot-in designed device.

Tecno Spark 6 — Camera

Tecno retains a 16MP primary rear shooter for the Spark 6. The other camera sensors which make up the quad rear cam setup include a depth control lens, a macro lens and an AI lens.

The 16MP lens supports an 8X digital zoom, which Tecno claims is 14% more improved. The front dot-in lens is 8MP and has support for face unlock.

Aside the basic photographic features packed by the majority of contemporary smartphones, the Spark 6 has no other standout camera peculiarities.

For the video department, Tecno Spark 6 supports 240 frame slow motion photographing.

Memory, Software and Processor

As earlier stated, the Helio G70 processor is one of the best made so far. Produced by MediaTek in January 2020, the processor has won the credit of several tech entities and is one of the best picks by brands to power their smartphones. Although the processor could bear a maximum of 8GB RAM, Tecno employs it to power its 4GB RAM device.

The G70 is paired with a Mali-G52 GPU, thereby making for a smooth mobile experience.

The HiOS operating system steps into 7.0 version from the 6.1 beared by the Spark 5. Meanwhile Android 10 operating system is still retained for the Spark 6, giving off a youthful and outstanding user software interface.

Battery, Sensors and connectivities

The 5000mAh battery capacity made for the Spark 6 allows the device to standby for 29 days (as advertised). If music were to be played with the smartphone without cessation after a full charge, the phone maker claims such would be enjoyed for six straight days.

The smartphone enjoys the services of a 18W Flash Charge, but there’s no mention of an inductive charging for it.

A unique introduction to the Spark 6 device is a Bluetooth Audio Share which allows the connection of multiple speakers through Bluetooth. This technology gives an added effectiveness to the immersive sound effects from the smartphone’s speakers. The company however recommends that no more than three Bluetooth speakers be connected at the same time.

Tecno Spark 6 Price and Availability in Nigeria

The price of Tecno Spark 6 in Nigeria is about N49,000. The price range would be within this when it finally arrives in the country.

Tecno Spark 6 is a worthy phone for its price tag by all measure. It comes with good display specifications and storages, excellent processors and a comfortable battery capacity, all at a convenient price. These specs are picks of a deserving smartphone.
