Tecno Camon 12 debuts with enhanced technology
Built on the latest Android 9.0(Pie) version and HiOS v5.5 skin, Tecno Mobility recently released it’s new ‘camon’ smartphone — The Tecno Camon 12.
What does Tecno camon 12 has to offer?
Camera!
Being a choice brand in Africa, they didn’t disappoint with this recent release. Tecno camon 12 comes with photography in mind. It’s rear camera is powered by 3 sensor lens. The first is a 16 MP main sensor paired with a 2 MP depth sensor and a 8 MP angle sensor.
For the front camera, Tecno provides it with a 16-megapixel camera noticeable at the top end of the screen. Both the front and rear camera of the device has LED flashes, however while the rear possesses a quad-core flash, the front end gets the dual-core.
The Tecno ‘Camon’ series was introduced by Tecno with photography in mind and this could be seen in all their releases under this series.
The latest Camon 12 has added to it an AI rear camera functionality making everyone an amateur photographer! Users can capture real-life picture perfectly with impressive quality.
Storage
Although noticeably among new smartphones, the Tecno Camon 12 has a 4GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage which could be expandable up 256GB through an SD card.
Display
With a premium polycarbonate plastic design, the camon smartphone packs 8.7 mm in thickness and weighs 179 grams. Tecno Camon 12 retains camon’s 11 premium feel at touch with a 6.52 IPS LCD water-drop notch display, 720 x 1600 pixels(much like most modern smartphones).
The phone has a 19:9 aspect ratio, 269 PPI density, a dimension of 165.97 x 75.8 x 8.2 mm and a scratch resistant 2.5D curved glass.
Processor
Tecno Camon 12 runs on Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (12 nm) Octa-core CPU (4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 and 4×1.5 GHz Cortex-A53) with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The octa-core processor is employed by modern smartphones makers to enhance speed,AI photography, and unperturbed multi-tasking.

Battery
The Camon 12 has a 4000maH battery capacity to power it’s multi functionalities. The device talktime is averaged at 28 hours, it’s standby up to 680 hours and it’s music play time at 38 hours.
