Sharp Aquos Zero 2 Specs: World’s lightiest at 6 inch

It’s the modern era of smartphone sleekness and reduced weight but there’s always one that can do it better than the others. Crowned as the lightest 6-inch smartphone earlier this 2019 in Aquos zero, Japanese electronic giant, Sharp has strenghtened it’s claim with the new Sharp Aquos Zero 2.

The Aquos zero 2 comes with key specifications like an in-display fingerprint sensor at it’s 143 grams weight but falls out with it’s 3130mAh battery capacity. It’s full review are as follows:

Sharp Aquos Zero 2 Display Overview

The device comes with an IPX5 / IPX8 / IP6X ratings certifying it’s water and dustproof nature. It’s available in colours: astro black and misty white.

Display

The new world’s 6-inch lighest smartphone comes with a 6.4 inch OLED display coupled with a mind buggling refresh rate of 240 Hz.

Like most modern smartphone the device has a water-drop notch at the upper end of it’s screen which holds the front camera selfie.

Sharp Aquos zero 2 Hardwares

Despite being of less weight, the Zero 2 boasts of a Snapdragon 855 SoC processor which consists of an octa-core CPU and Adreno 640 GPU.

The Zero 2 has an impressive 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.0 internal storage.

Software:

The device runs on google’s Android 10 operating system.

For it’s camera, Sharp provides a rear dual-camera setup with a 12 MP F/1.7 main shooter and a 20MP F/2.4 ultrawide angle secondary camera.

In it’s water drop notch layout at the upper screen display is situated an 8MP camera mainly for selfies.

The Aquos Zero 2 expectedly comes with a USB type c but however doesn’t have ports for micro sd cards. Sensors include an in-display fingerprint sensor and face recognision.

Battery

The sharp aquos zero 2 comes with a rather poor battery capacity for it’s quality at 3,130mAh. The battery is non-removable with no fast charge facility announced.

The price of Sharp Aquos Zero 2 is in the range of N125,000 to N130,000. This price range might be lesser or higher according to location.

Verdict:

I will base my final words about this device on some key specs:

• Processor: The qualcomm snapdragon 855 octa core is perfectly okay considering competing brand’s processors. Processor is rated good.
• Storage: It’s 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM storage is currently the industry second best. The ROM/internal storage is 256 GB is a well good.
• Camera: Aquos zero 2 12.2 MP + 21.1MP ultrawide rear camera sensors is good but falls short on it’s not-too-good 8 MP front camera.
• Battery: The 3,130mAh battery capacity for this device is quite average.

Overall, the device is quite unique with certain high-tech features and that makes for it’s inflated price.
