MTN Pulse needs no introduction. It is an MTN prepaid tariff plan that offers a flat rate of 11 k/sec after the first 50 seconds. This is only the tip of the iceberg of the benefits and features available in this plan.

Pulse has been around for some time and is a highly famed tariff plan. More so, it does not just offer low call tariff rate but it also offers immense data benefits, services, and products.

Features of MTN Pulse

MTN Pulse has a lot of features in stock for you. The features are as follow:

Pulse Nightlife Bundles

Pulse nightlife is a special feature in this tariff plan that allows subscribers to browse all night on MTN. There are two bundles in this feature: the 250MB Pulse Nightlife and the 500MB Pulse Nightlife.

The 250MB Pulse Nightlife bundle costs N25 while the 500MB costs N50. You can subscribe to the bundles by sending NT1 to 131 for 250MB and NT2 to 131 for 500MB.

The Pulse Nightlife bundle can only be used at night from 12 AM to 5 AM. You can use maximum data of 500MB each night; in other words, you will be allowed to subscribe to the 250MB at most twice per night but the 500MB can only be subscribed once.

The InstaBinge Bundles

Instagram is notorious for consuming a lot of data; thankfully, MTN provides a way out with the InstaBinge bundles in Pulse.

Interestingly, there are two bundles under InstaBinge: InstaBinge Lite and InstaBinge Heavy. The InstaBinge light offers 250MB for N100 while the heavy version offers 1GB for N200. They are valid for 1 day and 3 days respectively.

To subscribe to Pulse InstaBinge bundles, send INSTD1 to 131 for the lite bundle and INSTD2 to 131 for the heavy bundle.

Music+

If you want to listen to music all day at low cost, Pulse makes it possible. With N10, you can subscribe to Pulse Music+ that allows you to listen to music for a day. You will be required to subscribe to the weekly or monthly plan to continue enjoying your favorite service. You can subscribe by sending “M” to 5900.

Other Benefits of Pulse

MTN Pulse has a lot of other features. As pointed out above, you can make MTN-to-MTN call at the rate of 11 kobo per second. But to enjoy this benefit, you must meet the daily 50 seconds. The first 50 seconds go at the rate of 25 kobo per second and once the 50 seconds is met, you can then enjoy the 11 kobo per second rate.

Unlike the traditional MTN data plan, you can purchase 1GB for N500 in Pulse. This is a weekly service that offers 500MB in the data main account and 500MB to the bonus account.

To subscribe to the weekly service, send 103 to 131 or dial *406*2#. You can subscribe to the weekly service multiple times but the expiry date is unique.

Furthermore, on your first recharge of the week in this tariff plan, you can get a bonus of 10MB for N100 recharge or 20MB for N200 recharge and above.

MTN Pulse is indeed one of the best tariff plans in MTN, you can migrate to the plan by dialing *406*1# or *123*2*2#. You can also text 406 to 131 to migrate. Migration to Pulse is free; however, if you wish to make multiple migrations within 30 days, you will be charged N100.
