Infinix latest (best) smartphones and prices of 2019
One major struggle smartphone companies are into is balancing affordability and features. With release of new models in quick succession, the Infinix brand have presented smartphones that suit each class of consumers.
However, they are faced with stiff competition by Tecno and recently Itel brands; the later coming up with better smartphones that are relatively cheap.
In Nigeria, smartphones are revered by how cheap it is compared to it’s features. Tecno is winning the challenge at the moment that’s why in one of our piece, cheap tecno smartphones released this year was put under review. We’ve moved off from that as the infinix brand gets more cheaper with each releases all thanks to competition.
What brings about competition is mainly the struggle for the market share. The next reason is unfavourable reviews. When consumers gets a bad impression of a brand, these companies try to make more enticing models to make up for any lost market share.
To make for an impartial view by consumers we put the Infinix models of 2019 and the price tagged to it under scrutiny. The few models that emerges affordable with interesting features are listed below:
Hot 7 & Hot 7 pro
Infinix continues in it’s tradition of releasing a pro version to it’s models in Hot 7. As usual, the pro version always betters the main model in some few ways.
Infinix Hot 7 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor while the Hot7 pro is powered by a better 2GHz octa- core MediaTek Helio P22 processor. This gives the Hot 7 pro an edge with an impressive 6GB of RAM against the 4GB of Hot 7.
Both devices comes with an internal storage capacity of 64GB which could be extended up to 256GB using micro sd card.
Powering the two devices is a 4000mAh non-removable battery. Infinix gives both Hot 7 devices a rear 13- megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a second 2-megapixel camera. While on the front on the water-drop notch, there’s a 13- megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a second 2-megapixel camera.
Both smartphones are available in colours of midnight black, aqua blue, and mocha brown.

Infinix Note 6
Released july this year, the note 6 scales through our benchmark as one of the best infinix phones of 2019!
Powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, the phone comes with a 4GB of RAM. For storage, the Infinix provides a 64GB ROM for it which could be extended up to 128GB using an external micro-SD card.
The phone packs a rear camera setup of a 16MP (f/1.8) main camera including a 8MP + 2-MP camera sensors.
The infinix note 6 unlike most modern smartphones lacks a water-drop notch which usually house the front camera. However, on it’s plain topmost display screen is situated a 16MP front camera.

Infinix S5
As at the time of writing, this is Infinix’s latest smartphone and it lives up to the claim. The comes with a RAM size of 4GB and ROM size of 64GB(which could be extended to 256).
The most interesting of it is with it’s camera: The rear packs a camera setup comprising of a 16-megapixel (f/1.8) + 5- megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2- megapixel cameras. The front comes with a 32MP(f/2.0) camera.

Infinix Hot 8
Released september this year, the most impressive features of this smartphone is it’s 5000mAh battery.
With it’s smooth premium feel, the Hot 8 come with a not too impressive front and rear cameras. At the rear is a 13-megapixel (f/1.8) + 2- megapixel camera setup with a phase detection autofocus.
The front has a lone 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Powering the device is a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor.
