The Huawei Y9s debuts with a 6.59” ultra fullview display which features a 91% screen-to-body ratio.
Bearing semblance to a note type of smartphone in some way, there’s no water-drop notch on the device’s screen. The phone packs an extensive 2340 x 1080 screen resolution but there’s more to it than just that.

An advanced USB 2.0 type c and a 6GB RAM storage are some of the forefront features as well as a great 4×2.2 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 processor.

Huawei Y9s comes with a rear camera setup comprising of a 48MP wide angle lens with an aperture of f/1.8. The second lens serves as a 120° ultra wide one with an aperture of f/2.4 and pixel count of 8MP. The third and last 2MP camera has an f/2.4 aperture serving as a depth sensor.
With the 48MP+8MP+2MP rear camera setup, the company boasts of achieving AI corrected images from whichever angle one takes the shot from.The interesting part of camera department is expressed in the selfie setup. An impressive 16 MP front camera automatically pops up from the top side of the phone when you are about to take a selfie and retracts when done.
This motorized popup cam comes with an impressive aperture of f/2.2.

Advantage: The rear camera setup scores good, however the aperture of the 48MP primary lens is average at f/1.8.
The aperture of the remaining lens and that of the front camera is excellent including the pixel count of the later.

The selling price of Huawei Y9s starts from 86,000 naira. As at the time of writing, the device isn’t available in major online stores in Nigeria like Jumia.
